Flat Roofs Are Not 100% Flat, they are Sloped!
The three types of Modified Bituminous Built-Up Systems are:
Modified SBS: Commercial Buildings
One of the most common flat roof systems for commercial buildings. Modified SBS is a white granulated modified bitumen cap sheet, hot-mop applied over a mechanically fastened or hot mop applied base sheet. Modified SBS is a durable, long-lasting flat roof system that has withstood the test of time. All American Roofing has over 50 years of combined expertise in installing Modified SBS systems. We are licensed and insured for hot mop applications.
Modified GTA: Residential Buildings
One of the most common flat roof systems for residential flat roofs and is growing in popularity in commercial applications. Modified GTA is a white granulated modified bitumen cap sheet, torch applied over a mechanically fastened or self-adhered base sheet. Modified GTA offers all the same benefits as an SBS system without all of the setup required for hot mop application. All American Roofing has over 50 years of combined expertise in torch-applied applications. We are one of the most experienced and sought after installers in South Florida for this roof system.
Single-Ply Membrane (TPO, PVC & EPDM)
Single-Ply membranes have grown in popularity for commercial applications over the past 20 years. They are a durable, long-lasting, and easy-to-install system. Single-Ply membranes are a rubberized roofing system that can be attached and are fully adhered depending on the wind zones. Membranes are available in white and black.
